Extremely high load bearing capacity With the linear module SCHUNK Gamma 90, SCHUNK adds to the lower part of its successful gantry series, which is designed for high load capacities. The closed and thus particularly rigid basic profiles guarantee an extremely high load rating in conjunction with durable profiled rail guides and without additional support. The sturdy, selfsupporting axes are specifically designed for loading and linking machine tools, as well as laser cutting and processing machines.
Optimal adaptation
The modular build allows the 90 mm wide module to be both customized and economical at the same time. It can be equipped with a rack and pinion drive for high loads or with a toothed belt drive for high process speeds. Two or more slides can be controlled independently of each other with the gear rack drive. Two slides can move independently of each other with a toothed belt drive. A rail clamping element is also available for vertical applications, preventing uncontrolled sinking during an emergency stop or power failure.
