The HA series manufactured by Johnson Electric Haptic Motors, is efficient for designers to integrate haptic feedback in their devices through the vibrations made by a rotating eccentric weight. These vibrations can be produced through motor start up, operation and braking. These Eccentric Rotating Mass (ERM) Motors have shaft and coin configurations that vary in the plane where the mass spins. This process identifies their entire mounting and package dimensions to better suit specific applications. The equipment is perfect for operations with minimum power device as these motors have a maximum response duration for the spin to speed up and brake. Due to this, "on" and off" option of the haptic effect are more circular based on the end user.
