CNC transfer machine / for machining / for bars - 5, 600 mm | Combyax T5-U6
It carries out drilling and tapping operations on both sides for items with from 2 to 12 holes, having variable distance between centres with NC settings. For some fixed distances between centres (e.g. 35 and 50 mm) hourly production can be increased. The revolving table is horizontal axis with 5 stations and 15 self-centring clamps. The machine is made up of the following units:- 2 "UFE" 300 mm stroke electronic drilling machines, with inverter for spindle motor.
- 2 "UFME" 300 mm stroke drilling/tapping machines.
- 1 "CLFE" work centre with inverter for spindle motor.
- 1 "CLFME" work centre with controlled axis spindle motor.
To guarantee maximum stability and precision all the units are mounted on carriages with recycling ball guides, driver by digital brushless motors using preloaded ball recycling screws. The spindles are equipped with rapid tool holder connection. Extremely flexible it is able to change type of production very rapidly, for example, machining an item in the same family group, changing from 2 to 12 holes, all that is required is to recall the programme without having to carry out any manual adjustments. Programming can be carried out using USER FRIENDLY interface pages so that no-expert personnel are able to operate. In order to give the expert operator maximum flexibility, SIEMENS 840D numerical control can be programmed directly in ISO language.
