Haas EC-500 is a parallel machining center with 32" x 20" x 28" (813 x 508 x 711 mm), 40 taper, 500 mm twin-pallet system, 20 hp (14.9 kW) vector drive, inline direct-drive, 8000 rpm, 40+1 side-mount tool changer.

There is a three chip auger provision, 1-degree pallet indexing, showerwashdown, 1 MB memory and a memory lock keyswitch. It has a 15" color LCD monitor, USB port and robust tapping.
