FRAL is the series of Colgar machines with hydrostatic guides. The essential features that differentiate the Colgar boring and milling machines from those of the competition are the hydrostatic guides operating at low oil pressure on all the axes in bearing, contrast and alignment. This brings undeniable advantages:
Total absence of sliding friction and hence elimination of stick-slip.
