Slide protective bellows
Bellows have different shapes and different types like sewn, glued or heat sealed, according to use. Often stainless steel blades are used to cover them and increase the bellow's strength when it came into contact with chips. Spiral spring screw for ball screw is conventionally used to protect screws and shafts already existing in the machine tools. This guards the equipment from chips, dust, air, coolant, thereby ensuring no compromise on the working of the machine.
Roll-up covers are used to constrain the sliding guides of the machine against extraneous particles like dust, coolant and chips and and housing can be optional for manufacture.
Apron covers are used to protect the machines guides from dust, coolant and chips and often make the least noise since they are made of aluminium.
