FAGOR reversible rolling mills represent a range of very cost-effective and compact models that are capable of production of up to 500,000 t/year. These models feature computer controlled modeling and operate at speeds of up to 2,000 m/min, with fast roll switching, an automated load feed and ramps on both sides for spraying and drying. Each unit includes special diameter chucks and cylinders for each different application along with back-up rolls and chucks. The clamping cylinders and pumping units are equipped with hydraulic actuators, while the roll stand has a built-in position transducer. Constant operational speed is maintained through the use of cutting line wedges that are also equipped with fume extraction spraying systems.
