The new LCS series is highly acclaimed with its special performance and versatility that make the device offers a machine system for the finishing of hardened gears. The machine with dressable or electron plated CBN tools can be used for a variety of processes on a single machine. The LCS "Combi" uses extremely small grinding discs, depending upon the technology used which makes the CBN profile grinding suitable for internal gears. The LCS series is capable of accomplishing a dual technology of Tooth grinding with dressable worms or discs and the CBN procedure. The former is a successful and long-approved technique, achieving a remarkable productivity with the utilization of state of art alumina tools while the CBN procedure distinguishes itself via its high constancy of production results throughout the entire tool life.
The dual technology equipped by the system is brought into functioning without the place of any limitations and renders the user with several new possibilities open. The combination of the two technologies is an added benefit for mass production with operating ranges of up to 200 production hours.
