Edge honing machine - IBX-2/4
The IBX-2/4, manufactured by Osborn, is a sinjet edge honing machine that has been engineered to edge hone inserts and other small components. The frame of the machine is a welded steel frame that provides a robust structure. The control system and electric components are placed in a separate electric cabinet. The rotary table includes two spindles. One of the spindles is in loading/unloading position and the other one is in machining position. The programming is easy with the help of graphic menus. The programs that have been created can be stored in the industrial windows based PC. It has a maximum height of 15 mm, a maximum length of 40 mm and a table area of 2 x 180 degr.
