Automatic honing machine - MicroStar
The new MicroStar 285 is an innovative solution for machining of pinion gears. This unit is one single rotary transfer machine which interconnects grinding, finishing and honing. It is a high precision machine tool and can carry out several high precision operations in one chuck. High quality is achieved during the machining process and no clamping errors occur. The machine has an indexing table with eight tool spindles at its base. All the tool units are fitted around a central column. The precise reference face on one face of the workpiece makes subsequent operations such as honing, finishing, gaging, bore grinding etc. possible in one chuck.
