The GA/GP-26T is controlled by the Okuma OSP control and is designed for the simultaneous control of two axes. It is a cylindrical grinder that is available with both angle-head and plain-head technologies, and is suitable for productions involving fast cycles, small parts and hassle-free changeovers. This CNC OD machine can perform a variety of grinding operations, including multi-plunge, straight-plunge, face-plunge, cylindrical and tapered transverse. It can also handle complicated grinding work such as taper and arc applications, in addition to center work. Automation accessories make it a flexible system, particularly in the areas of manufacturing. Chuck work operations are optional.
