SANDVIK COROMANT offers one of their tools for grooving applications, the CoroThread 254. It's built with a slotted insert allowing for a much rigid sitting on T-rails preventing any loose movement caused by the cutting force variations.This tool has sharp cutting edges both internally and externally providing high quality grooving results. It comes in an assortment of tools with varying insert widths addressing the different specifications of an application. Integrated with an iLock interface, clamping of inserts in one standard tool holder is easy and achievable. The inserts themselves has an imprint of its width size for easy matching and identification.
