CERAMTEC SL 608 is a special SiAION cutting material which is used for rough turning in applications that require high performance. It is very tough and it makes it suitable for high chip cross sections and larger allowance fluctuations.
Its composition allows high performance when cutting fresh cast workpieces and machining cast iron alloyed grades. This cutting material comes with the IKS-PRO clamping system which provides the highest clamping security.
