The KASTOsawcell incorporates the UNICOMPACT Honeycomb Storage System and is characterized as a dependable saw cell. The system makes the machine versatile, strong, and fast as it makes it capable of automatic saw cutting and storing. By utilizing a quick change station it can automatically remove the last cut remnant and the next bar is placed while the saw is cutting. The manipulator is responsible as it ensures minimal idle times through quick bar change while the saw is cutting. Its gripper technology grips the bars either from the side or from above. It is designed to move round, square, flat, hex, channels, and angled bars with or without sensitive surfaces safely to the saw.
