The SteelTailorTM TubeTailor I CNC cutting machine is designed to provide comprehensive cutting solutions for tubes and pipes, with a high rate of convenience and ease of use in performances. The user-friendly, easy to operate machine cuts efficiently without the use of computers, expensive control units or nesting software. The machine incorporates an automatically adjusting torch height which serves to safeguard the torch and provide high quality cutting operations. Tubes can be cut in under 3 minutes. The machine provides excellent versatility in performance owing to its easy portability. Superlative cutting services are provided by means of its simple 2D construction without using any fancy control unit or expensive equipment.
The cutting process is conducted without the need for complex programming or settings.
The desired cutting pattern is selected via the graphical display of the controller, required parameters are set and the cutting process is ready to go. Diverse cutting functions can be selected- truncation cutting that can meet any angle requirements, Tee-junction cutting with adjustable branch sections, elbow section cutting which allows cutting of any segment, continuous cutting for the main tube with multiple interspersed punches, etc.
The controller memory is loaded with a wide range of commonly used industrial jobs. The required program can be selected or the current program can be saved in the controller/USB. The machine can cut tubes of diameters in the range of 60 to 260mm and wall thickness less than 8mm. It works at voltages of 220/110V at frequency of 50-60 Hz and input power of 300W.
