The Variocart C 40 carton erector operates through receiving the pre-glued blanks into their magazine, and subsequently disconnecting the first blank and transporting it to the pusher station, and to the folding area. Vacuum cups are installed to hold the carton and bend the lateral flap. Lastly, a closing zone applies hotmelt fluid for final wrapping, wherein the bottom surface is sealed for comprehensive enclosure and reliable packaging function.

The principle of operation associated with this item is based on a pusher, which removes the magazine blanks at preset intervals and transfers them to a drag chain. At this point, they are conveyed into the folding station, after which the carton is erected by the vacuum cups and fold at the side flaps level.
If users want optimum results, they should ensure the underside of the blank is tightly held by the cups during the folding process. Finally, the carton base is sealed in a continuous process.
