The building height is reduced compared to using a single-girder grain and a type E monorail hoist. Double-girder cranes of the same height are also comparable, with loads on the crane truck and building being much lower. These are obvious advantages compared to other types of side mounted hoists. The hook position has been cleverly placed beside the crane bridge to ensure optimum maximum hook height.

This cross travel trolley has been designed for direct drive, without open or exposed gears.
