Heliarc™ 283i/353i AC/DC introduced by ESAB is a power source best suited for innovated AC/DC TIG welding of aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, mild steel, copper, magnesium and aluminum alloys. It features a strong arc capacity with settings that ensures high degree arc control and rapid welding speed. It offers a two TIG applications that provides users a manually control weld puddle fluidity. It has a handy heat input and weld pool control that improves the aesthetic weld bead structure. To continue, it has a Superior Stick (SMAW) function even with Cellulosic’ AWS 60XX electrodes and an AC Liftarc Mode system applicable for operations where HF (High Frequency) is not required. Also, it has an availabe AC pulsing rate of 0.2-2Hz.
