The capacitive discharge power supplies are controlled by a microprocessor, storing multiple weld schedules and providing weld energy that is consistent, defined by fast rise times. This aspect is important when it comes to welding of highly-conductive materials, including brass and copper.The control system is able to provide a highly-stable output, regardless of the fluctuations of voltage, which results in repeatable energy being delivered between welds. The short weld times result in minimal part marking and deformation, while the optional built-in weld motor and the maximum of 128 programmable weld schedules are also worth mentioning.
