This vitrified bonded super-abrasive grinding wheel is specially designed for both external and internal cylindrical and surface grinding. It is also used to grind and hone gears. The parts are fused and sintered with aluminum oxide. This tool is commonly used for a wide array of applications that include centerless grinding, longitudinal grinding, surface grinding and creep feed grinding to name a few. They are constructed in carbide ceramics as well as in resin-bonded matrix.
