Honing tool
The External Honing manufactured by Sunnen is a tool that is utilized in removing the "cloverleaf" center-less grind pattern and chatter marks. It is suggested for any component including hardened steel, carbide, ceramic and glass. The unit is suitable for low production, tool room, salvage, and maintenance requisitions. The unit is faster, cleaner, and more reliable than lapping. It has I.D range for sizing and finishing of 3 mm- 115 mm and an external hone with I.D. range of 3 mm- 70 mm.
