The Diamond Flex-Hone is manufactured by Brush Research, and is a cylindrical hone that is ideal for use in a wide variety of operations such as surface finishing, deburring, and as well as edge bending of durable materials. The materials it can work with includes carbide and ceramic. The body of the unit is made of diamond crystals that have been bonded with the use of a resin. The Diamond Flex-Hone is available in all kinds of cylinders that measure from 4 mm up to 20 mm in diameter. Models that measure 4 mm has a boring capacity that ranges from 3/16" up to 6". The models that measure from 5 mm up to 20 mm has a boring capacity of up to 8".
