Underwater granulator - max. 8 000 kg/h | EUP series

ECON is the leading provider of underwater pelletizing technology with thermally insulated die plates. The die plate is fixed on the heated carrier body. The thermal insulation ensures that the melt in the die holes will not "freeze".

ECON pelletizers are not sensitive to fluctuations in output, thus making the pelletizing process extremely reliable and guaranteeing high operating efficiency. The compactly and clearly designed ECON water treatment and drying system is an effective solution for drying the pellets. The continuous filtration of process water ensures low maintenance requirements. Because the pellet dryer is easily accessible and free of dead spots, material or color changes can be done quickly.

The complete pelletizing line can easily be adapted to different production conditions, increasing flexibility.

Underwater strand granulator - UWG series

The UWG Series is composed of underwater strand granulators developed by SIKOPLAST Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG. It is specifically designed to cater a flexible area of application. By using the units from this series, thermoplastics can be palletized. Also, they can be utilized in viscosities which cannot be processed with a normal system.

Water ring granulator - HAW series

The watering pelletizing systems from the series of HAW are simple to operate. The area of operation is the pelletizing of PE, PP, PS, ABS and other thermoplastics. The pelletizing system is totally mounted on the watertank's process and is a single unit. Apart from the pelletizing head, the supply includes process watertank, centrifugal dryer and a heat exchanger.

Function mode - Die bores help the melt go through in a circular arrangement. The blades work directly on the die plate's surface and melt is cut and centrifuged in the cooling water. The water is tangentially injected and form a closed water film on the pelletizing head's surface. The film conveys pellets to the outside of the pelletizing chamber above an over grain separation into the centrifugal dryer and results in the prevention of sticking of pellets. Simultaneously, the pellets are cooled down.

Underwater strand granulator - ASP

EREMA’s semi-submerged strand pelletising systems are used to pelletise technical thermoplastics such as PET and PA. The straightforward operation and minimum labour requirements contribute to the very high degree of operational reliability. Easy start-up, fast cleaning when changing over material and automatic self-feeding if strand breaks occur make these systems indispensable in practice. Integrated crystallisation is also possible for PET or PLA.
