The AQUAREX blown film line offers enhanced film properties, mechanical configuration, and production processing. The system makes use of an “upside down wet” systems that blows film in a downward direction, while water cooling the bubble. This high speed cooling process, in comparison to air cooling, maintains a low film crystallinity and the film's natural amorphous state. This, in turn, produces high quality, clear and glossy soft film that is both tear and puncture resistant.
This extrusion film system is specifically optimized for operations with standard polyolefin materials. The machine requires a short cooling distance compared to standard blown film lines. This contributes to its more compact height requirements. Through a Machine Direction Orientation Line (MDO), a film can be processed more extensively.
