Simultaneous multiple-pin insertion will definitely increase productivity and this should be applied whenever possible. This machine, based on SPIROLs standard Model CR design is a very strong and stable dual vertical pin insertion machine. It can successfully install two pins simultaneously, making it perfect for moderate to high production applications asking for maximum 1,800 lbs installation force. The device is fitted with a single dual or twin single retractable pin orientation head. This is then mounted on shaft/linear bearing arrangement to enable easy loading and unloading of components. The device ensures smooth installation process as the installation bushing can be placed close to the parts. The orientation head is responsible for (1) shuttling the pins from feeding position to installation position (2) acting as selector, thereby ensuring installation of pins with exact specifications.
