Casting machine vacuum - TVCs
The TVC is a single chamber, fully-automatic pressure-over-vacuum module designed for medium and small casting laboratories. It works great with the established pressure-over-vacuum concept, making the perforated flask preferable against the solid ones. Depending on the specific model, the number of casting programs is 1 or 8. A strong vacuum is provided for the purpose of boosting the suction effect into the mold. In a protective atmosphere, alloy melting is achieved. The moment the metal enters the mold, a strong compression occurs on top of the tree component to decrease shrinkage porosity. The flask size can reach a diameter of 160-mm and a height of 300-mm. Due to the gas-wash procedure, crucible graphite consumption is significantly reduced. This is because the procedure removes the oxygen in just a few seconds from the charge loading process.
