High-shear mixer / batch / laboratory - picomix®
The Picomix high-shear batch mixer created by Hosokawa features a shaft sealing with rinsed shaft lip seal and a process chamber that can be cooled. This device is used for measurement of product temperature, motor output and rotor speed. It is designed with rotating mixing element organized in a vessel. The result of the unique composition of the mixing element is an intensive homogenous and quick mixing of the powder components. Moreover, the speed of this mixer can reach up to 6,000 1/min, the maximum volume it can handle is 20-100ml, and the product batch should weigh approximately 20 g.
