• Liquid receivers ensure the compensation of refrigerant volume variations in refrigerating and air conditioning installations. • These volume variations are due to fluctuations generated by various operating temperatures at various seasons, and to the opening and closing sequences of the expansion valve, which fills - or not - the evaporator with its refrigerant.
• Liquid receivers also allow storage of the whole installation’s refrigerant, for maintenance or trouble-shooting operations.
