Babcock Wanson BWB series fire tube steam boilers provide steam production in the range of 250 to 2,500 kg/h (175 to 1,757 kW).

The entire rear tube plate can be easily accessed by a simply sliding the rear door besides the handling rail. This results in easier servicing of the boiler as well as mandatory periodic checks. The boilers have a robust design with a central furnace tube and uniform expansion distribution. This results in improved safety and increased service life of the the boiler shell. The boilers are available in a broad operating range resulting in improved flexibility. The boilers provide options for operating modes for control and instrumentation such as fully manned, supervised or unattended.

The boiler features helical rings inside the plain fire tubes. They force the passage of combustion gases through the tube with a spiral motion. This ensures a significant increase in heat exchange, resulting in high efficiency of the boiler in accordance with legal requirements.

The BABCOCK WANSON™ burner is a fire tube boiler part of the BWD series. The product allows easy access to tubes for better and cheaper maintenance through an insulated access door. The external part of the chamber, which has an insulated access door, can be cooled by water. Situated co-axialy with the furnace tube, the flue gas reversal chamber assures the maximum allocation of mechanical pressure. In addition, this burner is highly adaptable. It can work in a wide range with ratios up to 8:1 when firing on gas. Capable of operating in different modes, the machine can also be operated manually, supervised or unsupervised. Finally, 94% of yield efficiency can be achieved by combining BWB boiler shell with BABCOCK WANSON™ burner.

The BWR series encompasses fire tube boiler equipments. It is integrated with a water-tube rear gas transfer chamber which allows the furnace to be concentrated. This makes the longitudinal load stresses located on the tube plates consistent. The equipment reduces the operation and process strains. It has several operating modes which is comprised of instrumentation for different types of operations.

In addition, it is equipped with a water-tube chamber that grants quicker load recovery following a heavy steam requirements variation. Its water circulation, located on the gas transfer chamber, secures uninterrupted cooling of its tube walls on every processing circumstances it may be under with.

It is available with various enhancements to attain its productivity of up to 95 %.

This horizontal thermal fluid heater has concentric coils and low thermal load combustion chamber. It features a monobloc burner for gas or gas-oil. It provides optimal distribution of the heat exchange, specialist flow control, long fluid life, high fluid velocity and the highest safety level. Refractories are reduced to a minimum.

The storage tanks saves energy because it minimizes loss of water-side pressure and allows rapid heating of steam water.
