Melting furnace / small - 1100°C | KP 1100

Borel Swiss' KP 1100 Series is part of the company's product line of mobile crucible furnaces. Models of the series are primarily utilized for melting operations, or maintaining the melted states of non-ferrous metal materials. They enable accessibility to the crucibles from the top, complete with manual covers. They showcase multi-layer insulation capabilities, with dual thickness of the ceramic fibers. They also exhibit electrical power values of 230 V at 50 Hz.

Melting furnace / vacuum / induction - TVM

TVM are furnaces designed for vacuum induction melting. They are applicable for melting under vacuum conditions of titanium, TiAl, stainless steel, nickel-based super alloys and other unconventional alloys.
TOPCAST has manufactured this class of furnaces according to different customized specifications of Ti crucible capacity, flask mould size and vacuum level.
The plant is structurally separated into 6 different sub-systems such as Vacuum Melting Chamber, Induction Generator, Tilting Coil and Crucible Assembly, Casting Mold, Vacuum Pump and Monitoring System.
Crucible can be prepared in different ceramic materials or in copper-sliced water cooled.
The crucibles for Ti can avoid alloy contamination and they can withstand the high thermal and chemical shocks due to Ti melting. The cold-crucible systems are also available for the larger power requirement.
In order to avoid alpha-case structure in the cast parts, TOPCAST has been designed an investment powder for Titanium casting.
The system also include monitoring System for process data collection, vacuum leakage detector and oxygen analyzer and RS232 and USB interfaces.

Melting furnace / induction - 10 - 12 kw, max. +1 700°C | TMF-P

Induction melting furnaces for steel assay TMF are able to easily melt ferrous metals and this includes steel scraps and iron ores. They may be having an infrared-sensible optical pyrometer used for temperature control. Topcast induction melters will make use of generators in series resonant topology or even for parallel resonant. A medium frequency electromagnetic field facilitates optimum alloy homogenization. The furnace can melt steel scraps and iron ore in order to be able to pour an assay ingot. This in turn needs to be sampled through the means of an X-ray spectrum analyzer. The furnace can be used in the recovery of metal scraps (iron, steel, aluminium, and zinc) and waste recycle. Digital electronics offers the programmability required to control any application.

Cupellation furnace - max. +1 200 °C | TCF

The TCF Cupellation Induction Furnaces are used for precious metals alloys in the assay process. For testing the purpose is removal of all non-noble metal from the alloy and Cupellation is that procedure. To heat the muffle, the built-in electromagnetic induction generator is provided with the Cupellation Furnace. The highest energy efficiency and the ultra fast work cycle is what this directly leads to. An advanced diagnostic system is given and the output of power is regulated with the electronic control. There are many advantages such as fast heating when induction is sued to directly heat the muffle, and with the silicon carbide resistance rods in respect the power doesn't have to be manually regulated so it is self-regulating. For the prevention of thermal shocks to the resistor rods the furnace doesn't have to be left on.
