This emergency shutoff valve, manufactured by Snappy Joe, is perfect for railroad tank cars and similar applications, serving as protection for the railcars. One liquid line usually requires the use of three such items, which offer protection for both ends of the transfer hose. Another thing you should know about this item is that it can be easily operated by a simple furnished coupling procedure. In order to successfully open the valve, you will need to apply a pressure between 1.4 to 4.1 bar. Remote closure is also possible through the pneumatic control valve.
