The 16.002.116 pinch valve series naturally closes during operation. It is styled for flexible tubes up to an outer diameter of 3.2 mm. It has a shore hardness from 50-60. This valves can control the medium by pinching the inserted tube. This style prevents one from using traditional valve seat and membrane that often produces turbulence in the fluid flow and most of the time create dead areas in the valve housing where medium or dirt can be accumulated.
This valve is specifically used for applications where a high level of hygiene is needed. It can resist chemicals depending on the chosen tube material.
