Wedge solenoid valve / 2/2-way - DN 1.5 - 2.2, max. 1 bar | 16.001.116

This series 16.002.316 pinch valves are designed for flexible tubes measuring 2,2 mm (outer diameter) and a shore hardness of 50-6. The tube can be pinched to control the rate of medium flow.

This means the usual seat and membrane valve design is avoided so as to prevent turbulence. This means there are no stagnant areas in the valve design, and so accumulation of the fluid or of dirt is avoided. This makes it ideal for uses requiring strict cleanliness.

Chemical resistance of the tube depends on the tube material.
