The Rembe single layer bursting discs are suitable and commonly used for applications with a medium to high burst pressure. A burst pressure is determined by the thickness and integrity strength of the specified material. The maximum permissible operating pressure is up to 70% of the burst pressure, and all bursting discs are available with an integrated vacuum support. Technical data: Type BT for sizes DN 20 to DN 600 (3/4" to 30"), comes with integrated tag plate for standard bursting disc holder IG, type ST for sizes DN 6.35 to DN 25 (1/4" to 1") with separate tag plate for screw holder unit, and type UT for sizes DN 20 to DN 50 (3/4" to 2") with identification flap and separate -wire-on- tag plate for bursting disc holder unit with locking nut. Benefits to the operator include ease of handling, a wide range of materials and has the optimal cost to efficiency ratio.

Rembe's U-Typ is a bursting disc holder that has a locking nut which is adjusted to the piping in a compact design. The one sided, two sided, welded or threaded connections can be availed as a use in sharing with bursting discs of type BT in sizes DN 15 to DN 50 which is 1/2 in up to 2 in. It also features a flangeless mounting, a direct screwing or welding into the piping and weight-optimized installation.

BT-ODV are Triple section bursting discs specially designed with a combination of high precision laser cut breaking points burst element and sealing membrane to ensure accurate operation at up to 80% of the burst rating. The forward acting triple-section bursting disc is used for determination of burst pressure and finds its application in low to medium pressure environments.
In corrosive applications, either a teflon or SST sealing membrane isolates the burst element to ensure higher burst ratings. The discs incorporates an integrated vacuum support that fully supports cyclic pressures from full vacuum to positive pressure within limits of 80% ratio boundary. The discs can be easily installed in the IG Bursting disc holder. The DN 20 (3/4") size disc fits into U-Holder unit while the ST-ODV disc provides suitable fit into the S-Holder unit.
