The flanged ball valve PN 15 is used in pipelines to regulate flow. It is comprised of a brass body and stem, PTFE seats, steel flanges and a viton o-ring. It operates at maximum allowable pressure of 15bar and maximum working temperature between -10˚C and +120˚C.
Before assembly, the valve must be opened completely to check the internal parts and to clean them thoroughly for proper functioning. Compressed air may be used for efficient cleaning. The valve must be assembled in the correct position with centrally inserted gaskets between the raised flange faces. Flange holes must be fitted with bolts and tightened to attain a diametrically-opposed order.
