Gates constant pressure M4K has an NBR/PVC-based cover (MSHA approved), nitrile based tube, and is reinforced with two braids of high-tensile steel wire designed for use under high-pressure hydraulic applications. It can be easily installed and routed even in areas where space is tight. It is lightweight and extremely flexible and it has been impulse performance tested to 600,000 impulse cycles. It has GL, DNV, BV, LR, ABS and MOD approval and SAE 100R19. ISO 11237 R19 standards and it meets/exceeds EN 857 2SC performance requirements.
M4K hose is compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like polyglycols, synthetic esters and vegetable oils and petroleum-based fluids.
