Gates heater hose connectors are thermal-based devices that allow operations to a variety of small diameter heaters and radiator pipes. They offer optimized sealing to hosepipes of either similar or different internal dimensions. These tools can be connected through a wide range of adapters including a straight, reducer, elbow and T fittings. They can cater to both light and heavy-duty applications with their integral enhancements. Such specifications comprise of fuel and coolant additive solution resistance, a comprehensive glass-infused nylon composition, and a single-barb architecture for secured capping.

The connectors manufactured by Gates are recommended for hoses with small diameters, providing a better seal between hoses with either different or the same inside diameters. The use of straight, elbow, T and Y shapes and reducers support the construction of almost any hose configuration.
The single-barb design is unique and provides a leakproof seal, while the resistance to coolant additives, diesel, oil, petrol and LGP are important. The hoses with ID of 2 to 12mm are all supported, while the glass-reinforced nylon supports extreme temperatures between -65 and 250 degrees Celsius. Finally, the working pressure is up to 2MPa (20kg/cm2).
