Cyclone separator / compressed air - DF-C
Cyclone separators offer effective cost-effective filtration process. They are required to remove abrasive contamination, like solid, liquid particles and aerosols from the flow of air pressure. The emphasis is on removal of water droplets or splashing water formed by condensation in the after-cooler at this point. They work on low differential pressure and low energy for significant cost savings. Higher filtration efficiency impacts positively on the the subsequent compressed air adsorption, refrigeration dryers and on the filters. The DF-C cyclone separators comes in seven sizes to match the current compressor capacities, the connection sizes of the Donaldson compressed air filters and the refrigeration and adsorption dryer product range. Theyintegrated as standard in the current compressed air filter housing generation (equipped with time-controlled condensate drains).
