Oil filter / self-cleaning - 40 - 1 100 m³/h | Alfa Laval
The Alfa Laval automatic lube and oil filter systems were designed to filter lubricating oils used in crosshead engines and trunk pistons. This prevents contaminants from entering some of the most sensitive parts of the engine, which will reduce engine wear and boost durability.The space-saving and compact design makes it easy to retrofit and install as an upgrade to a previously installed system. The three main types of Alfa Laval lube oil filters all have an automatic backflushing system.
The X type is used with crosshead engine, the T type with trunk piston engines and the Combined Cleaning Unit (CCU) with trunk piston engines that operate up to 5,000kW. Some of the T and X models come with a special diversion chamber that will collect particles coming from the full-flow chamber which makes it a maintenance-free sludge treatment system.
