Hydrocyclone

As standard they are made of carbon steel coated with epoxy-polyester paint. They are especially recommended to separate suspended solids of an inorganic nature at well outlets. They must act as prefilters for mesh, disc or sand filtration systems.

Filtration occurs by centrifugal force as water enters tangentially and results in the collision of particles against the walls, which then fall into a storage tank located at the bottom of the device. The cleaning of the tank is manual and can be automated.

Available in different materials and operation pressures.

Some hydrocyclone cleaning systems – particularly those in the normal system structure – are adaptable. They can be configured to meet operating requirements. Materials belonging to a higher specific gravity than fluid are separated from the fluid in the cyclone. When the fluid is clean, it is returned to the user.

Also, the feed pump is matched to feed pump capacity and in turn, is matched to the operating requirements.
