The state-of-the-art Berkal™ disc filtration system is perfect for eliminating fibers, grit, sand, algae and other contaminants with flow rates from 10 to 120m3/hr. It is a highly scalable, flexible, compact system with modular design and high flow and retention capabilities. It allows automatic backwashing of individual filters based on time or pressure differential; continual flow, optimized backwash water usage. It also warrants precise screen filtration, retention of depth filtration and high contaminant removal rates. It gives options of filtration grades from 20 to 400 μm and utilizes air-assisted backwashing and rinse water consumption is only 0.5% of filtrate capacity.
