Coalescing filter / for liquids - AquaSep® Plus

Entrained water in liquid hydrocarbons and chemicals is a problem in cases where fuels contain high concentrations of surfactants that are present in hydrocarbons and chemicals. Surfactants can make water removal problematic for standard liquid/liquid coalescers and other water separation equipment due to lowering the interfacial tension between the water and the continuous phase fluid.
This problem can also occur with process that separate oil from water. Surfactants can also lead to disarming of the coalescer.
The Pall’s AquaSep coalescer bypasses this problem with an effective separation of water from a hydrocarbon stream while avoiding disarming.
