It’s ideal for use in CO2 cascade freezing application, and has a very low volume flow in terms of cooling capacities. There are four single-stage units available, featuring three to six cylinders covering a wide capacities selection.
Further development of this GEA Grasso series includes integration with the heat pump system of NH3. This integration, in addition to the 50bar design, allows for condensation capabilities of up to 82 degrees Celsius. This results in the production of high water temperature levels. The heat pumping systems are useful in various industry sectors and contribute to the reduction of CO2-emissions and waste heat.

The GEA Grasso screw compressor SH series is a screw compressor that is available in four sizes that can cover swept volumes raingrin from 231 up to 372 m3/h. Its simple, yet compact design is an integration of only one oil connection with complete oil management, and important package elements in the compressor. The screw compressors are integrated with connections for monitoring temperature, pressure, controlling the integrated solenoid valve assembly for linked Vi part load adjustment, and displaying position on the control screen. To ease the assembly and service work, the assignment of solenoid valves are directed to the Vi, and a part load regulation and the connection of temperature and pressure sensors. The screw compressor is suitable for any standard DIN-flange motor.
