The Hoerbiger compressor controllers are used in a large number of reciprocating compressor applications that require efficient feed volume control. They feature a large stepless control range and use reliable, standardized components. They are designed to enable easy retrofits and integration for already existing models. They operate by controlling the gas throughput, using cutting-edge mechatronics. They provide excellent energy cost savings of up to 125.000 euros annually when used with a 1.300-kW compressor, as they only compress the required amount of gas. In addition the HydroCOM actuators are able to provide very fast and accurate process control as it can go from 10 percent to 100 percent in three revolutions with zero power loss.
