Air compressor / axial
The Dresser-Rand axial compressors are highly efficient and reliable for high-volume applications. These include sewage treatments, CAES, wind tunnels and air separation. They are primarily used for blast furnaces and air blower applications. These compressors are available in six standard frame sizes with 3 to 15 stages each. The pressure ratio will depend on the number of stages. The flow changes with the blade length. They are equipped with horizontally split design and a flexible external stator adjustment mechanism to make it more accessible. Blades can be changed individually without having to extract the rotor. The discharge volutes and intake are made with cast or fabricated steel and can be placed downward or upward.
