The GSK weir is an economic edition for stabilizing of reservoir target levels without backwater, volume activation and design restriction. Apart from regulation of reservoir levels, GSK weirs enable reduction in relief structures. In FSK weirs, the weights are substituted by spring cylinders, superstructures and ropes are left off.
