FLSmidth's Summit Valley Electrowinning Cells have the highest actual cathode volume per cell. The industry standard sizing does not equate to their total working area. This is an important fact to consider when comparing electrowinning cells. FLSmidth offers non-basketed cathode designs. This design requires significantly less labor for cell servicing and cathode washing (in cell). The non-basketed design streamlines servicing by abolishing the separate cathode wash tank and eliminating the need to remove the electrode from the cell for service.
