Single Rope Grab is a special type of grab, which has been especially designed for cranes with a single drum. The difference between this device and the two or four rope system is that the systems that control the opening and closing of the grab require a crane with separate closing and holding ropes. In addition to this, there are more simple cranes available, being equipped with one drum and one rope. The use of the cranes for the grabbing operations require a special grab, such as the Single Rope Grab. The Cromex grabs can be connected to any crane, while the only thing you need to do is hook the grab onto a crane, with sufficient lift capacity, with the grab being ready for operation afterwards. In addition, the single rope grab can be provided with a mechanism that can secure the closing of the grab. Opening the grab makes the mechanism uncoupled.
