The ABB Knox safety lock is a double lock that adheres with the highest safety level that can be utilized as a safety and process lock. It features two lock cylinders with monitored positions. Its locking mechanism is electronically controlled and maintains its unlocked or locked position in the occurrence of a power outage. Its handles have a simple design. The exterior handle has a reset function and an interior handle that is designed for emergency opening. Its robust design makes it suitable in unfavorable conditions. Its sensors are non-contact and the lock is constructed out of stainless steel.
