Pressure-sensitive safety mat - -20 - 60 °C, IP67
The ABB Safety Mat is utilized as personal protection within the hazardous working spaces around presses, robots, production lines, machines etc. Upon stepping onto the mat, the connected monitoring system will abruptly detect it and halt all dangerous machine movements. This is made possible by the detection of electrical contacts closing within the sandwich construction of the Mat. The mat consists of a bottom plate of either synthetic material or metal to accommodate the load it will be bearing. It also comes with a ribbed surface, which is secured by adhesive to the surface of the Safety Mat. These safety mats are available in different sizes with or without built-in ramp edge trim.
